Forward Tilt Hinge Kit for Steel Bugeye Bonnets.
This is the
Speedwell
answer for anyone that wants to have the ease of access and convenience of a front hinge bonnet, but was not sure those "other kits" would support the weight an original steel bonnet. Made from 6061 T6 Aluminum, this kit allows for easy engine bay access for all Mk1 Sprites with steel bonnets. It incorporates a sliding stop so no retaining cables are needed like our competitor's cheesy kits. Very well engineered and road-tested by many cars for years.
